We are all psychics, we just pretend we are not. People who call themselves psychic just pretend less. We are like radio receivers and transmitters. What we can see with our eyes and hear with our ears is really like receiving on a low-powered local radio frequency. When we use our latent psychic powers we can receive and transmit at any distance in time and space. ESP, telepathy, clairvoyance, clairaudience, telekinesis are a few of the names we give to the powers that it is possible for us all to develope. We already have them by the way and most of us have had an experience of one or the other of them in the form of an inexplicable "coincidence" - typically when we have been thinking of a person and the telephone rings and there is that person on the other end of the line.
